About Us
Founded in 2018
Dear Girls is a black, female empowerment organisation, that is committed to improving the well-being of black women. All of our content is created by devoted, black female volunteers who are passionate about promoting personal growth and inspiring black women to be women of impact.
Our mission is to empower black women and to eliminate their mental barriers to success using a Learning Style theory-based approach.
We aim to ensure that black women have a positive and healthy self-perception and that they have the tools necessary to handle difficult life situations. We also aim to provide positive representation, promote Afro-centric beauty, to re-write the narrative of negative stereotypes, and to offer easily-accessible, holistic services.
The mediums for our message are blog posts, campaigns, inspirational posts, monthly devotionals, journals, IGTV videos, events, and workshops. Make sure to check out our content Sis.
